Participants have engaged in intensive learning sessions, participated in weekly learning activities, and engaged in robust discussions with peers and facilitators, as well as completed the following assessment tasks to demonstrate their understanding of Marketing Strategy in a Digital world.

Prepared a marketing issues report, identifying and evaluating the marketing strategy, marketing environment, and competitor analysis, substantiated with comprehensive SWOT & Porter’s 5-Forces. Based on the analysis, participants were also required to determine how these factors influence the business, industry, and the customer, and through this identify issues currently affecting the business.

Prepared a consultative marketing report as a group assignment, focussing on addressing the issues that were identified from findings in Assessment 1. In the marketing report, participants made recommendations to the business owners that will help them address those issues within the chosen marketplace.

Presented a group pitch to the chosen organisation proposing to implement suggested recommendations to address the potential issues identified in Assessment Task 1. The implementation plan is underpinned by practical application of the key concepts, principles and theory so that the firm can appraise its success.
