X-Band Deployable Satellite Ground Terminal (DSGT) Operator level 2

Graduates of this course have completed over 30 hours of dedicated training in order to qualify as a DSGT Level 2 field technician. This course builds upon the knowledge and skills gained on the NATO X-Band DSGT Operator Level 1 and students attending this course have completed 6 months practical experience using the DSGT in support of NATO missions and operations.

Earning Criteria

The course uses a combination of formative and summative assessments throughout the course. Students are required to demonstrate their DSGT Level 1 foundation skills and apply newly learned Level 2 technical skills. The final practical assessment involves fault isolation and recovery practices for all subsystems.
