Agile Foundations Training

Learners participate in an eight-hour workshop that explores the concepts of mindset, behaviours, and philosophy of Agile. The training provides theory, techniques and practices in ways of working, as well as an immersive simulation to apply the learnings. The training modules includes the topics of growth mindset, psychological safety, Lean, Kaizen and Scrum.

Learners explore practical, actionable take-aways from Agile ways of working with respect to implementing personal, team and organisational agility.

Mindset and Behaviour: This module explores concepts of mindset and behaviours that build healthy learning environments. Learners also partake in discussion about practical methods of prioritisation and fostering growth zones.

Lean and Kaizen: The module explores Lean techniques that help teams redirect focus towards value, reduce wasted time and energy as well as boosting team morale.

Scrum: The module explores the empirical process: transparency, inspection, adaptation. Learners are introduced to the Scrum framework: 3 roles, 5 events, and 3 artefacts and how they can be applied.

Scrum Simulation: This module gives learners hands-on experience working in an agile team. The simulation uses video games to focus on practicing the scrum cycles, goal setting, reviews, and retrospectives to optimise team outcomes and rapport building.
