The Equity Journey: Participants in this course explored justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and bias, gaining awareness of the structural/systemic barriers that hinder equity, In addition, participants created action plans to continue their personal learning about equity and to incorporate equity goals in building their organization effectiveness.
Equity and Nonprofit Organization Success: Participants in this course explored how to build equitable organizations through intentional work in the boardroom, in employee hiring, development, and retention practices, and day-to-day operations with the goal of better quality decisions, a more creative, productive, and focused staff, and enhanced organization outcomes.
What's Fair? Exploring Social Justice in America: Participants in this course explored social justice using a broad lens to improve their understanding of social justice, increase awareness of the barriers that hinder social justice, create a personal definition of social justice and learn how to put it into action, and to examine strategies for supporting and nurturing social justice.
