Gamification in education refers to educators applying game design elements to an educational setting. The purpose of gaming is to make learning more engaging and to improve learning outcomes. Earners of the badge will demonstrate the ability to design and implement games within course content. Participants will have the opportunity to create a game and add it to their course content.

Earning Criteria

Workshop - Earners will attend the Gamification Made Easy workshop

Participants will create one game to be used as practice for an assessment in one of the participant's courses.

The gaming link will be sent to the Faculty Trainer to assess game experiences as a learner in the course.
