Earners have foundational knowledge of the healthcare system in Alberta and Canada and how health information management issues, trends and best practices affect these systems. Earners have learned what Structured Query Language (SQL) is and how to create simple queries in existing databases. Finally, earners have the ability to build interactive dashboards and use introductory data analysis skills such as importing, organizing, combining and transforming datasets to help visualize health data.
