Social Impact and Entrepreneurship

Students will compare and contrast traditional entrepreneurship with the ways in which social ventures address social problems and unmet needs. Students will also measure the social impact of their ventures and compare them with comparable efforts in development and philanthropic initiatives. Completion of relevant coursework in a formal classroom environment. Instructional strategies include: audio visual materials, discussion, computer-based training, practical exercises, lectures.
