Badge earners will have an acute understanding of the world’s problems in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Earners will have demonstrated workforce readiness skills such as information literacy, digital literacy, analytical inquiry, critical thinking, effective written communication skills, and developed foundational content knowledge. Earning Criteria

Students should earn 85% or higher in both required courses.

Demonstrate knowledge of significant interpretations of world history.

Understand the historical development of major Asian, African, and American civilizations.

Recognize the contributions of Asian, African, and American cultures to human civilization.

Understand major world religions’ origin, traditions, beliefs, and spread.
