Recipients of the Global Strategic Planning badge have demonstrated improved analytical, leadership, communication skills by running a fictious drone-manufacturing company and competing with their classmates. They prepared individual reports and group presentations to assess their company's strategic, financial, marketing, and CSR strategies. This is a Level 3 badge.
Earning Criteria

Collaborate with teammates/co-managers in the Glo-Bus simulation to apply marketing, HR, and financial strategies and strengthen their company’s competitive position in the global marketplace.

Communicate concisely and persuasively both orally and in writing (as tested via peer assessment and in the Glo-bus assignments).

Apply competitor analysis models to predict the competitive moves of rivals and segment an industry into its markets to assess the relative attractiveness of different segments.

Earn at least a B on the Glo-Bus Business Simulation + Glo-bus Individual paper (40% of the final grade for MGT 4850: Business Strategy).
