The goal of this 1.6 hour credit baring badge is to increase staff competence and comfort working with TGNC clients/patients to ensure an affirming space for all. This is an interactive session that focusses on practical daily skills in reference to discussing the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity / gender expressions as well as to understand the impact of using gender appropriate language and how to develop those skills.
