The AI for Higher Education Professionals micro-credential equips participants with the knowledge and skills essential for navigating the responsible integration of AI into the higher education experience. Faculty and administrative staff will learn how to incorporate AI in ethical and inclusive ways to support students and prepare them for future academic and career success.

Earning Criteria

Pre-Event Self-Assessment: Before the symposium, participants will complete an online self-assessment questionnaire to gauge their baseline knowledge of AI and AI in education, and to contribute their knowledge, ideas, concerns and questions regarding AI in education for discussion and exploration during the symposium.

Event Attendance: Participants will attend the symposium. Attendance will be verified through a first sign-in during the morning session and a second sign-in during the afternoon session. Event Attendance

Post-Event Assessment: Participants will complete an online quiz within one week after the event to assess retention and understanding of the content. POIETO will assign scores or levels based on the number of correct answers. Total score of 75% or higher will be awarded a micro-credential.
