This micro-credential provides foundational understanding of the various aspects of aging to prepare students to work with aging populations in a wide variety of fields; particularly health and human services. The skills acquired will equip students to provide elder care and caregiver respite; as well as advocate for the needs of aging populations.

Earners will be required to complete Fundamentals of Aging (SOC 2153 or PSY 2153) with a minimum grade of D or better ; Earners will be required to completed Death, Dying, and Grief (SOC 2163 or PSY 2163) with a minimum grade of D or better
