Preparing for College and Careers includes an understanding of the inputs required for an individual to be successfully prepared to enter college and start a career. Emphasis is placed on personal characteristics that can be developed to help ensure success in schooling and job endeavors. Candidates learn to properly evaluate self, career options, earning potential and schooling options to make informed decisions throughout life.

Complete any course work in an Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education approved program that encompasses the areas included in the objectives/blueprint for the certification assessment. All approved programs lead to industry-recognized credentials within our network of accredited technology centers.
