Emerge Leadership Program

Emerge is a 10-month leadership training program for frontline employees to develop their leadership potential, even before they have a leadership position. Emerge aims to recognize, celebrate, and equip frontline employees who demonstrate leadership potential to continue developing a leadership culture throughout the Agency. This is a blended learning program where in each session, participants spend a few days together in person and a few hours in an online learning community.

Earning Criteria

Employees who have been with DHS for at least one year AND are not currently in a DHS supervisory role. To be nominated, employees must demonstrate the potential, capacity, and desire to grow a leadership mindset that will positively impact the agency and the customers we serve.
