CDA (Child Development Associate) Preparation
Coursework meets the required 120 hours by the Council for Professional Recognition. Students successfully completing coursework will meet the requirements to apply for the Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. Those completing the required coursework gain knowledge in the areas of early care and education courses; child health, safety, nutrition; child development, and guidance.

Standards
Those completing the required coursework are prepared to apply for the CDA. Meets level 1--5 Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder. Basic knowledge of early care and education, health, safety and nutrition and child development and guidance.
