Earners of this badge serve(d) as chair of Oklahoma higher education's statewide online learning council, including overseeing committee work representation of all member institutions. COLE is an initiative of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and includes the following subcommittees: accessibility, advanced technologies, open educational resources (OER), policy, professional development, and student success. COLE members elect a new chair annually.
