Earners will gain skills and content related to infant and early childhood mental health that are useful to a continuum of professionals across systems, including educators, Head Start specialist, childcare providers, home visitors, nurses, mental health clinicians/social workers, early intervention specialists, primary care providers, law/judicial advocates. This certificate was developed with input from Youth and Family Services professionals in northwest Oklahoma.

Successfully complete SOCW 4123 Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, a sixteen-week, three-credit-hour synchronous course offered via distance education one night per week.

Complete six clock hours of professional development training in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health approved by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
