Information Technology Fundamentals for Instructors

Earners will receive basic instruction on how to incorporate IT concepts into to K-12 environments. Professional development micro-credential to prepare K-12 faculty to help facilitate information technology education. Earners will gain working knowledge of the Java and Python programming languages, IT Fundamentals and 3D Printing.

Earning Criteria

Earners will attend a hands on workshop where they will be introduced to topics and skills needed to help students in a K-12 setting. Participants will be introduced to IT fundamentals, Java Programming, Python programming and 3D Printing.
Earners will create a 3D-printed project with coded programs.
