The badge owner has demonstrated their ability to successfully perform in a leadership capacity within the nursing school community. Leadership skills were developed and refined over more than one semester demonstrating the student's ability to become an effective leader as they move into an RN role.

Earning Criteria

Participate in one or more of the following: Hold a leadership position within a TCC student organization, serve as a True Blue Nursing Peer Tutor, be a project leader through a nursing organization (develops, leads and delegates a project through SNA, SNCF, AAMN)
Successfully complete NURS 2444 Adult Health IV & Leadership with a score of C or higher.
Obtain a benchmark score on the Kaplan Leadership Exam
Apply and be selected for this badge through the School of Health Science office, Nursing Department.
