Lean Manufacturing Basics
The Lean Manufacturing Basics micro-credential is designed to teach manufacturing employees the basic concepts of lean manufacturing. Upon completion of the certificate, learners will be able to identify the seven types of wastes, identify value-added activities, map value streams, create flow, and establish pull systems. By knowing how to implement lean in a facility, employees can help reduce costs, improve safety, increase production, improve quality, and increase profits.
