Earners of the Literacy certification will be able to demonstrate competency in identifying quality children’s literature, teaching writing and reading together, and using technology to support that instruction. Learners also demonstrate knowledge of the various types of assessment and methods for identifying struggling readers and appropriate interventions to assist PK-12 students in learning to read.
