Microbiology Staining Procedures Proficiency
Students will gain useful skills such as learning the proper procedural steps of various microbiological staining procedures such as the Gram stain, endospore stain, flagella stain, capsule stain, negative stain, and acid-fast staining procedures. Several hands-on sessions throughout the semester will give students adequate practice in carrying out these staining procedures. Students will also be trained to properly interpret the results of these staining procedures.
