Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will understand basic principles governing the practical application of instructional media and technology in authentic PK-16 educational settings. Attendees will have the opportunity to create an Instructional Website using open access toolsets and will learn tips for selecting and embedding effective digital instruction.

Earning Criteria

Utilizing open access toolsets, attendees will create an instructional website for use in an authentic PK-16 environment, and will embed instructional video, user-created graphics, and interactive, text-based media. Specifically, a successful instructional website will include three hyperlinks to unique pages, an embedded open-access instructional video, a user-created logo/graphic, and a student-focused worksheet/activity. Project-based activities must be successfully completed to earn badge.
