Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN®)
Earners of the Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN®) credential have demonstrated they have specialized knowledge and experience in breast care nursing. They have the knowledge to competently provide care for patients who have or who are at risk of developing breast cancer. Earners initially demonstrate this knowledge by passing a comprehensive examination and maintain the credential by completing professional development focused on breast care nursing or by passing the examination again.

Hold a current, active, unencumbered RN or APRN license

Completed at least 2 years of practice as an RN

Completed at least 2,000 hours of breast care nursing practice

Attained a passing score on the CBCN Examination
