OCC's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certificate program will prepare students to join the work force where they respond to emergency calls ranging from car accidents, violent traumas, heart attacks, childbirths, falls, and emergency care needs in a variety of settings. Successful completion of this program with a grade of Acceptable Competence or higher may lead to New York State Emergency Medical Technician certification.
