Complete one of three options that demonstrate the ability to evaluate documents, evidence requests, and productions

Option 1: Work a minimum of 5 discovery requests and provide an essay detailing the experience. The essay will include a summary of a discovery response and/or discovery request, type of offense(s), outside agency coordination (if applicable), a description of the type of evidence, the information solicited to fulfill the discovery response and/or discovery request, and a description of the discovery or evidence tracking tool utilized.

Option 2: Complete a 3-credit hour, college-level evidence or discovery course (with transcript verification) and submit an essay outlining the experience and technical knowledge gained from the course (an example of a course that meets this requirement is LAW 6930, Electronic Discovery, Digital Investigations, and Evidence at Levin College of Law)

Option 3: Read and review applicable chapters from the Federal Rules of Evidence and Military Rules of Evidence and write an essay that includes applicable citations for at least 10 rules related to discovery procedures and rules of evidence. Additionally, the Earner will describe a discovery or evidence management tool with an explanation of its use.
