Earners have demonstrated the ability to recognize and assess students' level of understanding and proficiency in Early Numeracy, and to develop personalized strategies for each level of learner. In advance of the two-day course, participants are required to interview five students by posing two word problems, record their observations, and bring student work samples to Day 1.

Complete two-day Professional Learning seminar covering both research in Early Numeracy and hands-on practice.

Analyze student videos to learn to recognize and assess the many strategies children use for basic calculations

Participate actively in highly interactive exercises and activities.

Develop a Continuum of Early Numeracy learning Strategies and learn how to place students on that continuum.

Learn how to effectively use and teach with Mini-lesson strings, Word problems, Games
