By the end of General English Communicative Skills B1, students will demonstrate proficiency in English at 43-51 on the Global Scale of English (GSE) (CEFR B1). This includes the ability to communicate using longer stretches of connected clauses and functional language, understand the main points, important details in stories, argumentation, narratives and catch the main points in TV programs on familiar topics when the delivery is relatively slow and clear.
