Earning Criteria

Successfully met the requirements of the Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer End-point Assessment delivered by Pearson as a registered EPAO. The End-point Assessment consists of a Portfolio (including practical observation) and Interview.

Completed a minimum of 12 months learning and development to meet the knowledge, skills and behaviours in the Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer occupational standard.

Achieved when employer is confident that the apprentice is ready, has achieved Maths and English at Level 1 or above, and industry registration on the Gas Safe® Registerand the Meter Operation Code of PracticeAgreement (MOCoPA®).
Standards
A Dual Fuel Smart Meter installer is responsible for the safe installation, exchange, commission and decommission and ongoing maintenance of Smart metering systems and associated equipment and communication systems. This occupation entails carrying out a high level of safety critical activities, while providing customer service excellence.
