Earners of this badge have demonstrated competence as a Systems Engineer based on the occupational standard published by IFATE. This includes applied knowledge of scientific, technical, engineering, and mathematics fundamentals, systems engineering lifecycle processes, planning and executing system verification and validation, and managing project risk. Skills and behaviours demonstrated include functional analysis, generating solution concepts, designing systems and working with stakeholders.

Earning Criteria

Successfully met the requirements of the Systems Engineer End-point Assessment delivered by Pearson as a registered EPAO. The End-point Assessment consists of a Project report, with presentation and questioning, as well as a Professional discussion, underpinned by portfolio of evidence.

Completed a minimum of 48 months learning and development to meet the knowledge, skills, and behaviours in the Systems Engineer occupational standard.

Achieved Level 2 English and Maths Qualifications. Achieved Master's Degree in Systems Engineering.
Standards
