This certification is a benchmark for all individuals who have extensive expertise to effectively plan, implement, manage, monitor, and maintain an event sustainability management system (ESMS), to audit an event sustainability management system (ESMS), and to manage a team of auditors by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques.

Earning Criteria

  • Pass the PECB Certified ISO 20121 Lead Implementer and ISO 20121 Lead Auditor Exams or equivalent
  • Pass 4 Foundation Exams related to the certification field
  • Submit evidence of 15 years of general work experience with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in event sustainability management system as well as 700 hours of ESMS project and auditing experience
  • Abide by the certification rules and policies
  • Adhere to PECB's Code of Ethics
