This certification is a benchmark for all individuals who have extensive expertise to effectively plan, implement, manage, monitor, and maintain a risk management system, to audit a risk management, and to manage a team of auditors by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques.

Earning Criteria

  • Pass the PECB Certified ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager and ISO/IEC 27005 Lead Risk Manager Exams or equivalent
  • Pass 4 Foundation Exams related to the certification field
  • Submit evidence of 15 years of general work experience with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in risk management as well as 700 hours of IT risk management project experience
  • Abide by the certification rules and policies
  • Adhere to PECB's Code of Ethics
