Guidance in Early Childhood Education (ECE212) (v.4)

The course objective is to learn positive strategies to teach children the skills they need to succeed to solve problems and handle confusing emotions and to teach them developmentally appropriate expectations. Students will learn to differentiate between guidance and discipline. This course also explores the many ways that teachers can work with children and families, using effective guidance strategies in a variety of settings.
