The Applied Mental Health Counseling Skills 2 course provides advanced critical thinking and basic counseling skills for law enforcement, first responders, human services professionals, and students that come in contact with individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders. This course will provide hands-on experience on how to apply basic counseling skills ethically. Students will learn how to provide mental health crisis intervention, family counseling skills, and group therapy skills.
