This course introduces students to the basic components of managing projects using Earned Value Management (EVM). Organized around the "7 Principles of EVM," this introductory course helps students understand how to develop a Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), including building a critical path schedule and time-phased resource plan, perform basic EV performance calculations, and understand how these metrics are used to manage a program.
