Earning Criteria

Psychometric assessment, including the Personal Adaptive Quotient (PAQ) and the NSW Government Hogan 360° assessment with facilitated feedback. Participants delve into relevant development objectives to accelerate leadership transformation.

Engage in six individual developmental coaching sessions with dedicated UTS coaches in alignment with the completion of a personal development journal. In addition, participants are required to attend two team coaching sessions on a nominated strategic challenge project about NSW Health.

Attend five face-to-face or virtual learning modules (9 days in total) in building finance leadership capabilities across: 1. Aligning strategy, new models of care and outcome-focused reporting systems. 2. Self in the system. 3. Leading health finance teams and motivating clinical stakeholders. 4. Leading a path forward – Executing and delivering health outcomes. 5. Communication strategies and presence.

Complete an 8-hour, self-paced online Strategic Thinking and Planning module.

Undertake work placement to experience new challenges outside the participants' normal sphere, as well as to broaden their networks. Placements may be within the Ministry of Health, across NSW Health organisations or external to Health.

Complete a strategic challenge group project to explore concepts in real-time, and collaborate on a challenge for NSW Health from a strategic finance standpoint. The Program concludes with a group presentation of the strategic challenge.
