UTS Women in Digital Marketing Program 2022 - 2023

In collaboration with the National Careers Institute and industry partners (Nibble Digital, Indago Digital, In Marketing We Trust, IAB Australia and Right Management), the UTS Women in Digital Marketing Program is a seven-month re-employment pathway program for women seeking to break (back) into the digital marketing industry after a career break.

Participants completed an online Future-of-Work self-assessment tool on the skills they currently possess, and those that can be built upon with feedback and coaching from a dedicated developmental coach.

Participants attended four on-campus workshops with UTS Business School marketing discipline academics on best digital marketing management practices across four topics: 1. Digital Marketing Management, 2. Digital Marketing Branding Fundamentals, 3. Developing Digital Channels, 4. Digital Marketing Analytics.

Participants completed four 1:1 virtual developmental coaching sessions with UTS developmental coaches to work on their Future-of-Work skills.

Participants attended four virtual practitioner skills training sessions with UTS industry partners across four topics: 1. Websites, Design and UX, 2. Marketing, Analytics, and Data, 3. Search Engine Marketing, and 4. Social Media Marketing.

Participants attended four virtual group mentoring sessions hosted by IAB Australia for the latest industry knowledge and expertise.

Participants attended four career coaching sessions hosted by Right Management to receive personalised career advice to identify strengths, skills and interests and gain a better understanding of career options and roles best suited to them.
