Earners of this badge have developed a foundational knowledge of the federal student aid system. Participants exit the boot camp experience with a general understanding of federal student aid programs, how the Free Application for Federal Student Aid works, student loan borrowing patterns, student loan debt and default, federal student aid repayment programs, and the role loan servicers play in the federal Direct Loan system.
