The Podium Access Course badge holder understands the scientific basis for psychometric testing, and can understand and describe psychological theories of individual differences important in testing. They understand how to choose which tests to use, how to effectively deliver those to test takers and how to interpret and use test results appropriately. Badge holders can apply their knowledge and skills within an ethical framework that ensures test practice is fair and inclusive.

Earning Criteria

Complete 12 short modules which have built in assessment at the end of each one. Immediate feedback is provided on answers for each question. Achieve 80% or above to progress to the subsequent module.

Complete a simulated exercise in Test Administration, demonstrating appropriate communication, participant support and informed consent process. Submission is a tutor marked worksheet.
