A PAC Certified Mentor, an employee of PAC, helps learners discover and practice a large variety of PAC Skills. They guide and mentor learners on their journey, help them recognize where things are going well, and where they can improve. Working closely with world-renowned dementia care educator Teepa Snow, PAC Certified Mentors are on the forefront of helping learners embrace PAC's effective, compassionate, and dignified dementia care techniques that improve life for all.

Earning Criteria

Complete two PAC certification programs. One certification must be Trainer with the ability to perform at an Accomplished level. Certification in one other certification (Coach, Consultant, or Engagement leader) area at a Proficient level or above.

A 10-20-minute video, with an audience of at least three people, demonstrating an Adult Experiential Learning Cycle (AELC) around an objective, along with a 5-10-minute coaching or consulting cycle with someone on the call based on the skill that was trained.

Live webinar with our PAC Team Leads who will provide feedback on your video.

Lead a 10-20-minute webinar, which will be recorded. At least three of our PAC Team Leads will be invited to this webinar. You will demonstrate the same objective and your ability to respond, rather than react, to questions in the moment, as well as your ability to take feedback.

Attend PAC Apprentice Days. You will rework and prepare the same objective with an AELC and secondary supporting cycle (Coach or Consultant) that you used for the entire process.

Attend a Certification course as learning mentor. Review and incorporate lead’s and PAC team’s training and feedback.

Attend a Certification course as support mentor. Review and incorporate lead’s and PAC team’s training and feedback.

Work one-on-one with lead mentor in leading sections of content. Review and incorporate lead’s and PAC team’s training and feedback.
