Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to explain changes to the annual curriculum cycle, proposal forms and curriculum processes, as well as describe the curricular processes and procedures of the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC). Additionally, participants will be able to provide appropriate proposal feedback that is specific to their particular role in the review process.

Earning Criteria

Participants 1) complete a 4-hour training and a 2-hour test; 2) identify curriculum process and procedure updates; 3) identify the role of MHEC in the curricular process and MHEC’s procedures; 4) find errors in a variety of proposal types; 5) write appropriate proposal feedback for a variety of proposal types.
