Safe and Secure ! Dining in the New Normal addresses specific preventative practices to decrease the spread of coronavirus while dining. Processes involved in food safety, cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting are addressed. Basic mode of transmission and symptoms of COVID-19 and common foodborne pathogens presented. Tools that decrease health risks from employees and customers are outlined. Methods to facilitate food safety during food deliveries, take-out and curbside pick-up are identified.
