Advanced Rebreather Diver (v.4)
The course objective is to qualify divers to plan and make no stop dives to the maximum depth of the Type R rebreather unit or gas they are using, or 30 metres/100 feet (40 metres/130 feet if they are also certified as a PADI Deep Diver), whichever is less, in conditions comparable to or better than those in which they are trained and have experience.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include examinations, quizzes, performance rubrics/checklists, complete the advanced rebreather diver final exam, evaluation of skills during one confined water training dive and four open water training dives and more with a minimum passing score of 80%.

Instructional strategies include: audio visual materials, laboratory, discussion, practical exercises, lectures.
