Freediver Instructor Training Course (v.3)
The objectives of the PADI Freediver course are to develop the student’s understanding of the underwater world and how it interacts with the body, and how that affects the body when freediving; guide students in choosing appropriate equipment for freediving; and develop the knowledge and skills for basic static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight freediving to a maximum depth of 16 metres/55 feet.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include examinations, quizzes, performance rubrics/checklists, completion of the PADI freediver course exam, evaluation of skills during one confined water and two open water training sessions. with a minimum passing score of 75%.

Instructional strategies include: audio visual materials, laboratory, discussion, computer-based training, practical exercises, lectures.
