Jr Divemaster (v.1)
The course objective is to engage and motivate interested youth, ages 15-17 until they are old enough to become PADI Divemasters. A PADI Junior Divemaster candidate completes portions of the Divemaster course with some modifications to performance requirements. Certified Junior Divemasters are not PADI Members and may not act as certified assistants or supervise divers. They can assist PADI Professionals with many dive management duties and become great diving ambassadors.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include examinations, presentations, quizzes, evaluation of skills during confined and open water training sessions and workshops and more with a minimum passing score of 75%.

Instructional strategies include: audio visual materials, case studies, laboratory, discussion, computer-based training, practical exercises, learner presentations, lectures, classroom exercise.
