You will learn how to use the editing tools and techniques in the publishing industry. You will also learn how to work as a professional editor at four “levels of editing,” which include proofreading, copyediting, substantive editing, and development editing. Each level employs its own set of editorial tools and techniques. We will also go over interpersonal strategies for working with authors and managing the publishing process.
