This badge is awarded to learners who participate in an immersive program dedicated to the development of academic and creative skills in game theory, game design, and game prototyping. Learners develop valuable experiences as team members in eSports. Participants depart the program with increased understanding of the online gaming industry, career paths in that industry, hands-on experience in game design, development and testing, and knowledge on building and managing inclusive eSports teams.

Earning Criteria

Complete a 2 week, immersive commuter or residential camp experience aimed at high school students interested in game design, including a student work showcase where designs are presented and tested by faculty and peers.

The program delivers educational experiences in the application of game theory and use of iterative design processes, prototyping, and playtesting game designs.
