Earners of this designation have demonstrated fundamental knowledge of continuous and discrete time signals and systems and fundamental signal processing techniques, such as FIR and IIR Filtering, the Fourier transform, the discrete Fourier transform, and the Z-transform. In this course, students practice applying theoretical knowledge in MATLAB-based projects and exercises.
