BLDP - Foundations of Leadership

The badge recipient has demonstrated the following leadership education and skills and achieved a final course score or 80% or higher in their required BLDP seminar. The student has learned leadership skills and demonstrated them through a minimum of 11 additional units of approved activities in the following areas: civic engagement in the community, leadership on campus, self-awareness and time management for leaders, advising training and support, plus legacy and reflection documents.

Earning Criteria

Student has completed a minimum of 1 leadership course (must include initial BLDP seminar) and achieved a grade of 80% or better (3 units)

Student has completed 11 units from any of the following activities and experiences: 1) Civic Engagement - volunteer in community based activities (example: Martin Luther King Day of Service). 2) Serve as a leader on campus (example: achieve officer position in 1 student organization, campus board, Greek life organization). 3) Presenter for a new student training session (trained by RSBC Advising). 4) Serve as a leader in career center activities.

Student has completed a minimum of two self-awareness exercises: online or True North (1 unit) or attended a minimum of two professional events (Business Outlook, Economics event)
