Earning Criteria

  • Complete online training for 3D Printing - Basics and watch online training videos.
  • Complete the provided online quiz and score 100% on all questions.
  • Attend and complete an in-person training session, demonstrating novice proficiency in using our Prusa MK3S printers. This includes creating a 3D print using Octoprint, demonstrating proper safety protocols for using the Prusa MK3S printers and how to properly load and unload filaments to the printer. An IDEA Lab facilitator must also give the user certification in order for the user to be able to use the Prusa MK3S printers freely.
